Power of Produce

The Power of Produce (POP) Club provides a fun opportunity for children to engage in the local food system through conversations directly with farmers, educational games and demonstrations, and exposure to new fruits and vegetables. In addition to participating in educational activities, POP Club kids receive vouchers to spend at the market, allowing them to make their own shopping decisions at the market.

 

The Muskegon Farmers Market provides an opportunity to area children and younger customers in the farmers market experience the farmer’s market through POP Club. Power of Produce activities include but not limited to the following:

 

POP Club Market Guide an active guide.

POP Club Activity Guide activities to do at the market.

$2 POP Buck Chips. Members can use the tokens at participating vendors, and during some of the activities.

Prizes for kids participating in POP Club. Stickers, temporary tattoos, face painting, tote bags and other goodies will be available.
